Early Learning

Curious minds grow through play, connection and discovery.

Our early learning program supports children from their first experiences in care through to kindergarten and the transition to school. Educators build warm, responsive relationships and plan experiences around children’s interests, strengths, development and emerging ideas.

Play-based and Montessori-inspired opportunities invite children to investigate, create, communicate, move and practise everyday independence. Indoor and outdoor environments are arranged so children can participate at their own pace while caring educators offer encouragement and guidance.

  • Familiar routines that help children feel secure and confident
  • Creative, sensory, language, movement and problem-solving experiences
  • Opportunities to make choices and develop independence
  • Learning shaped by observation, children’s interests and family input
  • Indoor and outdoor play throughout the day
  • Communication that keeps families connected with their child’s learning

Calm, welcoming spaces for play, learning and belonging.

Learning across the whole child

Every experience can open a new path for learning.

Children do not learn in separate boxes. A garden project can involve movement, language, science, cooperation and care for the environment all at once. Our program makes room for these connected ways of learning.

Physical development

Outdoor play, climbing, dance, games and fine-motor experiences support coordination, strength, balance and confidence.

Social and emotional wellbeing

Shared play and caring guidance help children communicate, build friendships, manage feelings and develop a strong sense of belonging.

Thinking and problem-solving

Construction, experiments, puzzles, art and open-ended questions encourage curiosity, persistence, creativity and flexible thinking.

Aa

Language and literacy

Books, songs, conversations, storytelling, drawing and mark-making build vocabulary, listening and confidence in expressing ideas.

Culture and belonging

Family stories, languages, celebrations and different perspectives help children feel represented and learn to respect the experiences of others.

Nature and responsibility

Gardening, nature play and conversations about caring for resources encourage observation, responsibility and connection with the natural world.

Growing with each stage

Care and learning that evolve with your child.

Experiences change as children grow, while the foundations remain the same: secure relationships, meaningful play, thoughtful environments and respect for each child’s individual journey.

Helpful information for families

Program FAQs

How is my child’s learning planned?

Educators observe children’s interests, strengths and emerging skills, then use this information alongside family input to plan meaningful experiences and environments.

Is the program only focused on school readiness?

School transition is one part of a much broader approach. Confidence, communication, relationships, wellbeing, curiosity, independence and a positive attitude to learning all support a strong start at school and beyond.

What should my child bring?

The team will provide a current list for your child’s program. Please label belongings clearly and speak with us before attendance about comfort items, dietary needs or medication procedures.

How will I hear about my child’s day?

Families receive communication about their child’s experiences and learning. You can also speak with educators about what your child has enjoyed, practised or discovered.

How do I find out about OSHC bookings and availability?

Contact our team with your child’s school year, the type of care required and preferred days. We can explain current availability, booking information and the most suitable next step.

Can I visit before deciding?

Yes. A centre tour is the best way to see the environments, meet the team and discuss which program may suit your child and family.
